WWE and AEW are the most dominant professional wrestling promotions in 2021. Former World Champion and WWE Hall of Famer, Kurt Angle, recently revealed his favorite wrestlers from the plethora of Superstars who work in the two promotions. Angle hosted a Q&A session on his official Facebook page. One fan asked him his favorite wrestler in recent times in the comments section. The former Olympian is obviously smitten with AEW, as he could not help but choose from the ‘rival’ brand. Angle chose former World Champion AJ Styles and current AEW World Champion Kenny Omega. He also commented on their work ethic, and how they make their opponents look good. “AJ Styles or Kenny Omega. Both are spectacular performers. They make their opponents look incredible. That’s a sign of a real worker,” he said.   Coincidentally, both Styles and Omega were part of the infamous Bullet Club in their NJPW days. Both of them were leaders of the Bullet Club at one point before leaving for America. Kurt Angle also praised the Royal Rumble 2021 winners Coming back to Angle, he also answered another question from the fans regarding WWE. One fan asked him about this year’s Rumble winners, Edge and Bianca Belair. He said both of the Superstars deserved the win completely. He said, “I think they deserved it, they’re both spectacular. Edge is proven, Bianca is a very hot, upcoming talent.” Bianca is the first Black woman to win the Women’s Royal Rumble, and the second Superstar to win it from number three after Ric Flair. Edge, on the other hand, is the third person to win the Rumble from number one after Chris Benoit and Shawn Michaels. Kurt Angle achieved a lot in WWE but he never won a Royal Rumble. He retired from wrestling in 2019 at WrestleMania 35 and was a backstage producer until last year.
