Puljujarvi was placed on the COVID list on Thursday, which resulted in the game between the Oilers and Canadiens that evening being delayed to allow for the completion of test results. The 22-year-old was also absent from the Oilers’ practice Thursday morning with James Neal taking his usual spot on the wing alongside Connor McDavid and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. Puljujarvi has three goals and five points in 15 games so far this season. With his removal from the league’s COVID protocols, he has a chance to be back in the Oilers’ lineup for their next game against the Winnipeg Jets on Monday.
